We left around 4:30PM so that we could get to the Mountain Winery by 5PM for the meet & greet. Meet & greet you say? We didn't order the VIP package, but I somehow got an email a few days before the wedding saying how I could redeem my meet & greets. I printed out that email to bring with us to try our luck at getting in as VIP. We ate dinner (mine was a $10 salad) & I got thoroughly attacked by garden bees since they loved my salad. Time came to go try our luck with the meet & greet passes. Our morale dropped when we saw that people had special laminates. We made Vinh take the email to the box office to try our luck at getting laminates. Paula & I thought that we wouldn't get it, but Vinh came back victorious with three glorious VIP laminates to go meet Gavin DeGraw!
Us with Gavin DeGraw *squeal*
We immediately went to where all the VIPs lined up. All the while, we were all giggling at our great luck with scoring basically free VIP passes! Colbie popped out for a bit for her last meet & greet & shortly after, we were ushered into a dim room to wait for Gavin to arrive. It sucked that we were told no flash for our photos *pouts* Gavin comes in & everyone gets all super excited. When it was our turn, I passed my camera to Gavin's crew & Vinh introduces us & tells Gavin that we got married two days ago. We asked him to sign our CD (see below) as well as our laminates. He asked where we got married & we told him to go check out Hakone Gardens. We then pose for our photo before Paula got her time. Then we all took a quick group photo before leaving Gavin's arms. I can't believe we got to meet Gavin again (first time for Vinh)! Best wedding gift ever, so much win! :D

Our signed CD, yay!
My signed VIP laminate
After being all pumped up from meeting Gavin, we went to go find our seats. We were probably like 4-5 rows away from the stage, awesomesauce! Paula & I stayed put in our seats as Vinh ventured up to go find us some drinks. He ended up buying a $70 bottle of white chardonnay, but couldn't bring it into the seats so he had to pour the whole bottle out into three ghetto plastic cups :(
Paula & I reppin' the fangirl status
Colbie came out & started performing for like two songs before Vinh returned with the chardonnay. She's so pretty!
Gorgeous Colbie Caillat
As Colbie was ending her segment of the show, she chose "I Never Told You" as her last song. We just happened to be singing along & then all of a sudden, Gavin comes on the stage & performs with her, ahhhh! I just so happened to be filming this song! So friggin' perfect, just watch below ♥
Afterwards, Colbie & her crew left the stage so that Gavin's gear could get set up. Paula & I took the opportunity to get near the stage to take a photo with Gavin's awesome drum set. We're such groupies, haha :P

Gavin came out rockin' with "Sweeter" & it definitely set a very fun & interactive tone for the rest of the evening! Be sure to check out the videos below for "In Love With A Girl," "Soldier" as well as a newly written song between Gavin & Colbie titled "We Both Know" ♥
Gavin rockin' to "Sweeter"
Gavin actually went out through the audience during one song & took someone's cell phone to take photos, serenaded them & made the crowd super hyped up! At one point, he pretended to finish the concert, but everyone in the crowd was chanting for more. Gavin ended up coming back out to perform "Not Over You" & Colbie came out to sing with him. Again, ahhhhhh perfect ♥

By the time the concert was over, I had drank at least half of the chardonnay bottle since Vinh was the driver. Paula & I both had to rush to the ladies room since we were filled with chardonnay. Afterwards, Vinh escorted me back to the car. Whilst in the car, I decided to semi-drunk text Lobsterfest about something. I don't quite exactly remember, but it was funny & that I was speaking out loud how I couldn't spell & type on Vinh's cell phone. Once we got home, we were on a Gavin high & couldn't sleep for another few hours, lol. That my friends, was the end to an amazing day!
