The Girl Between The Lines #02

What is one thing you will do differently in 2014? This could be a goal you didn't meet, a promise you didn't keep, or a reoccurring bad habit. Is there anything specific that you will continue to do?

The Color Run SF 2013


I would like to run, jog, &/or exercise more. Why? I'm not wanting to lose weight or anything. I just want to be more fit & healthy so that I can continue to do the things I love. I work all the time & really cannot find a time to exercise after work since I'm just exhausted (therapist work is tough/draining in the physical disabilities area). I will continue to participate in events such as The Color Run & walks that benefit others/organizations in need. Here's to hoping that the new year will bring about a change in this bad-ish habit :P

  1. Maybe you could set your alarm and go for a run before work? I workout early a lot and it's a good feeling to get it out of the way early :)

  3. This year I am going to be changing up my work schedule. finding a better balance between work and home life. That is what i'm going to change this year.

  4. I have seen things about the color run lately and think it would be such a blast to do.... even though I can't run because of a hip replacement... I can walk fast.

  5. AH!! It's my dream to take part in one of these color powder 'wars'. They are so beautiful and look like such unique fun.

    In 2014, I want to give myself more time to rest!

  11. I'm with you! Finding time to work out is t always easy. I try to do it while the kids are napping.

    The color run looks like so much fun! I'd love to run one.

  12. I think I will forgo any changes this year--I am still settling into the changes from last year! Still really trying to eat healthier and stick to the diabetic diet all the time instead of most of the time!

  13. one bad habit i want to stop is over eating when feeling down. I'm pretty sure if I can cut down on the fatty food and go for a walk now and then I would be a lot happier. Happy New year to you!

  16. I run all the time and just completed my first half marathon. I have days when I do not think I have the energy and find I am so much better after I run off the days stress. I do not like running in the morning though so I can not wait for the time to change. Good luck with your goal, maybe we will meet at a race in 2014

  24. Happy New Year!! And thanks for linking up :) I agree, it's tough to find the time to exercise with crazy, sometimes draining full-time jobs. I'm hoping to make exercise a priority this year, too! I want to take care of myself!
