Fanime & Clockwork Alchemy 2014

From Thursday evening to Monday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend, Fanime Con & Clockwork Alchemy was in effect! It was Vinh & I's first time attending these two cons & we wanted to immerse ourselves for most of the weekend. We mostly shopped at the two different galleries: Artist Alley & Dealer's Room. Along the way, you see many people cosplaying as their favorite characters from any anime, cartoon, comic, video game, etc. It was definitely an experience :)

Rilakkuma x3!

On Thursday, I met up with my sister Helen to pick up our badges. We ended up choosing the Clockwork Alchemy line instead since it was so much shorter. However, there were computer issues & it took us 4 hours to receive our badges, ughh...

On Saturday, I shopped my little heart out for cute things! I also tried on a corset for the very first time. Let's say that the guy totally took the air out of me! I could barely breathe as I am used to deep breathing instead of chest breathing. I look freakishly skinny in it as well, but the hubs enjoyed that my boobs looked bigger, haha!

We headed over to Clockwork Alchemy to check out the steampunk scene. I got totally excited that we ran into the Tardis from Doctor Who. It is quite spacey inside ;)

Peek a boo!

Tadaa!

Below is a summary of all the goodies I bought, haha! If you are interested in any of the items below, I can try (key word there) to link you up to the seller :)

All the loot I got :P

Overall, quite the experience & I cannot wait for what next year brings. Also, happy 20 years Fanime! :)
