Jamba Juice Smoothie Kit Review

The first product that I tested from the Influenster Surfs Up voxbox is the Jamba Juice Smoothie Kit. I ended up choosing the mango-a-go-go flavor since it's a fruit both the hubsta & I love. Definitely a perfect way to cool off after a hard day's work :)

Jamba Juice Smoothie Kit

We ended up finding the smoothie kit in Nob Hill since Safeway didn't carry it. It was quite the tricky find as it was smushed inbetween items in the freezer.

Jamba Juice smoothie kits squished inbetween items

Mango-A-Go-Go

Making the smoothie itself was easy peesy. The directions were on the back of the package so that you didn't have to guess how much of what to add to the frozen fruit.

All items needed

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MANGO-A-GO-GO SMOOTHIE KIT:

  1. Place all contents of smoothie kit into blender.
  2. Add 8oz of apple juice into blender.
  3. Pulse on low setting for about 20 seconds
  4. Blend until smooth & pour into your glass of choice
  5. About 2 servings :)

All contents ready for blending

Enjoy your smoothies!

PROS: cheap (~$2.50 per kit), quick to prepare, fairly healthy, 3-4 different flavors to choose from
CONS: hard to locate in grocery stores as not all of them carry the kits

  19. Do you have to do apple juice, or can you use another juice or water? I would think the apple would mess with the flavor.

    1. I didn't taste the apple juice at all actually. That's what the kit recommended & I just followed. I would think the water would dilute the mango taste?

  28. Sounds tasty but unless the fruit is out of season it may be even cheaper to buy fresh
... but that would also take longer. Of course sometimes fruit gets expensive too. I will watch for a couple weeks to see if a coupon is available.
